Empowering a Self-Sustaining Church

In Malawi, the growth of the gospel is often hindered by economic instability. We believe that for a church plant to thrive long-term, it must eventually move from international dependency to local sustainability.

The "Jars of Clay" Model

Theology First

We train pastors in Reformed theology so they have a firm foundation to lead their flocks.

Business as Mission

We provide practical entrepreneurship training, teaching church leaders how to start small-scale businesses that support their families and ministries.

Accountability

We provide ongoing mentorship to ensure both the spiritual and financial health of the church.

Church Planting Support

From launch to long-term health, we walk alongside church leaders with coaching, tools, and practical next steps.

Biblical Stewardship & Agribusiness

We steward resources to launch church-adjacent agricultural initiatives by securing land near partner congregations and supplying essential tools and inputs—such as implements, seed, and other farming necessities. These projects, led and operated by local congregants, will generate income to help meet church financial needs, promote the well-being of members, and contribute to the flourishing of nearby communities and the work of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC).

Fertile Ground for Ministry

The first step in harvesting maize is slashing, and as these photos show, Dzuwa Church is actively engaged in that work. We thank God for the effort, unity, and willingness the church has shown throughout this process. After slashing, the next step will be removing the maize from the cob. It will then be moved closer to our warehouse, where it will be ready for shelling.
